
This prize, which is awarded every two years, was created to commemorate the memory of Didier Patte - an outstanding French shoulder surgeon who was one of the two Founder Members of SECEC/ESSSE with Norbert Gschwend. It has a value of € 3 000. The prize will be awarded for a piece of European scientific research of outstanding merit pertaining to the shoulder or the elbow.
The work must be presented in English or French and must not have received a comparable prize.
The research should NOT have been published before 1st July 2013 and the author should be under the age of 45 years.
Please send the form back to the secretary office together with six copies of the work by 30 June 2013. A jury will be appointed by the R and D Committee after the receipt of the works. The prize will be awarded at the SECEC congress and the prize winner will be asked to present his work in a ten minute presentation.
